Many people are fascinated by dragons, though it’s hard to say where that fascination began. Was it sparked by TV shows like Game of Thrones (2011–2019) or maybe even Merlin (2008–2012)?

Writers around the world have brought dragons to life in stories for both children and adults, keeping readers captivated by these mystical creatures. Some standout dragon books include The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien and A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. For children, there are timeless favorites like The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch, How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell, and the hilarious Dragonbreath series by Ursula Vernon.

It was while creating AI artwork on NightCafe that a spark lit in my creative mind, inspiring me to write my own dragon microfiction. And with Thanksgiving just days away, I began to wonder what a Dragon Thanksgiving would look like. What would be on their menu?

"In the midst of autumn leaves shaking loose from the trees, there were echoes of bellows at the annual Wyvern turkey hunt.

Each young dragon wingmates flew low in the forest sky, weaving in and out of the towering trees, looking for all the ingredients for their Overland's Dracogiving. ..."
