Dealing with acid reflux makes finding chili recipes without garlic, onions, or peppers a real challenge—especially since chili is my winter favorite! Every Sunday, we cozy up with a big bowl of it during the colder months. I absolutely love chili, but unfortunately, the feeling isn’t mutual. Thankfully, with my husband’s help, we’ve crafted a special recipe that’s flavorful without being overly spicy, perfect for those of us managing acid reflux. One thing you may not know about me is that I am a watercolor artist and photographer. I love to paint desserts. There is something about challenging myself to make the best, most realistic dessert that I can.  When I write poetry, I try to weave my love of desserts into a sensory experience that is not just with my paintings or photography but also through words.
